Nature of VETRA's Advisory Services

Vetra is an independent strategic advisory consultancy providing conflict resolution support, facilitated discussions, business strategy advisory, and governance guidance.

VETRA’s services are advisory and facilitative in nature. Our role is to support clients through structured strategic thinking, organised dialogue, and professionally prepared documentation designed to assist in navigating complex decisions and disputes.

VETRA does not provide legal advice, legal representation, or accredited mediation services. Where matters require formal mediation or legal assistance, clients may be referred to appropriately qualified professionals.

What VETRA Does Not Provide

To ensure clients have a clear understanding of the scope of VETRA’s services, the following activities fall outside the scope of VETRA’s advisory practice:

  • Legal advice of any kind, including advice about legal rights, obligations, or remedies
  • Legal representation in any court, tribunal, or formal dispute resolution process
  • Accredited mediation services or formal mediation conducted by a registered mediator
  • Representation in negotiations on behalf of clients in a legal or formal capacity
  • Preparation of legally binding agreements, contracts, or formal settlements
  • Advice on specific legal outcomes, court proceedings, or litigation strategy
Clients requiring any of the above services should engage a qualified legal practitioner or accredited mediator independently.

Professional Network & Referrals

To ensure clients receive comprehensive support, Vetra maintains a network of experienced mediators, legal practitioners, and specialist advisers who are available to assist where accredited mediation, legal advice, or formal representation may be required.

Our role is to support clients through structured advisory, strategic facilitation, and practical guidance while working collaboratively with trusted professionals when specialist expertise is needed.

Where VETRA identifies that a client’s matter requires specialist legal or mediation services, VETRA will actively support the client in being connected to appropriate professionals within its network. Referrals are made in the client’s best interests and without financial incentive.

Confidentiality & Professional Standards

All client information shared with VETRA in the course of an engagement is treated with the highest standards of professional confidentiality. VETRA does not share client information with any third party without the client’s express consent, except where required to facilitate referrals with the client’s knowledge and approval.

VETRA conducts all engagements with professionalism, integrity, and respect for client circumstances. Our advisory services are provided with genuine commitment to client welfare and constructive outcomes.

Reliance on Advisory Guidance

VETRA’s advisory guidance is provided for strategic and practical purposes to assist clients in navigating complex situations. It does not constitute legal advice and should not be relied upon as such.

Clients are encouraged to seek independent legal advice from a qualified solicitor or barrister before taking any action in connection with a dispute or legal matter, particularly where:

  • A matter may result in or has already resulted in litigation or formal proceedings
  • There are questions about legal rights, obligations, or contractual arrangements
  • The client is considering entering into a formal settlement or agreement
  • There are regulatory or compliance issues that may have legal consequences

VETRA provides advisory services to clients throughout Australia and internationally. Advisory services are delivered through a combination of virtual consultations and, where appropriate, in-person engagements.

For clients operating across multiple jurisdictions, VETRA’s advisory support is designed to provide strategic guidance without substituting for the jurisdiction-specific legal advice that may be required locally. Where appropriate, VETRA may assist in coordinating referrals to trusted professionals in relevant jurisdictions.
